Financial Benefits
For international students, the Woods Hole Internship in the United States is a fully-funded, fully-paid internship that covers all of the costs.
- Aweekly stipend for the ten- to twelve-week program; a monthly stipend. During the summer of 2022, the stipend will be $650 per week.
- Tickets for round-trip flights to Woods Hole are available. The travel allowance for 2020 is $700.
Living quarters: - Two single beds per room in a communal house.
- International students will aid fellowships in acquiring the proper J-1 visa documents for international students.

Eligibility Criteria
- All international students, regardless of nationality, are welcome to apply.
- Third-year undergraduates are eligible to apply for the program.
- Students who will graduate prior to the start of the fellowship period are ineligible for consideration.
- The fellowship will begin in May of 2022 and last for one year.
- Second-year students in a three-year Bachelor’s degree program, such as those in the United Kingdom, are required to submit an application.
- Students enrolled in a five-year combined Bachelor/degree Master’s program must be in their third year.
