Master’s degrees take two years, and doctoral degrees take three years.

If you want to study in NZ with no taking the IELTS exam, you must provide English Proficiency Certificate.
In University of Canterbury in New Zealand, foreign students can demonstrate their English proficiency by presenting proof of completing an education from an English-medium institution or from a country that speaks English as a first or second language.
- University of Auckland, New Zealand: Lincoln University offers an English Language Program that is less difficult than the IELTS exam.
- University of Otago New Zealand: Additionally, if the Candidate does not meet any of the above criteria, they can enroll in English for Otago Program in order to be considered for admission in University of Otago.
