Universities in Korea that do not require the IELTS test
There are many public and private universities in South Korea. The government wants to see a rise in the number of foreign students studying in the country.

Excellence and a wide range of research opportunities are hallmarks of this university. 2nd in South Korea, and 33rd in the world, Seoul University is a world-class institution.
The IELTS Proficiency test is not required, though. A TOEFL score or an English Proficiency Certificate from Your University might be used to demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively in English.
2. Korea University
One of the top in the world, according to the rankings. An English Proficiency Certificate from Your University, which describes the English communicative approach used when you were a student at Your University, is also accepted here.
3. Sejong University South Korea
In an effort to become one of the top 50 universities in Asia, Sejong is a private university. Presently, they’re working to improve their programs and curriculum, as well as their options for international students.

Private research university Pohang University of Science and Technology is located in Pohang, South Korea. Many times, POSTECH does not demand an IELTS or TOEFL score.
